2024 Recruiter Awards: Who Took Home the Top Honours?
The 2024 Recruiter Awards once again brought together the UK’s top recruitment professionals for a night of recognition and celebration. As the largest event in the recruitment industry, the gala honours the people, teams, and agencies that have excelled in recruitment over the past year. From new agencies making their mark to established teams delivering exceptional service, this year’s winners showcased a wide range of talent and dedication.
We always look forward to the Recruiter Awards. It’s a chance to see how the industry is evolving and to acknowledge those who are setting new standards in recruitment practices.
Let’s recap the highlights of this year's winners:
The 2024 awards were a fantastic reminder of the wide range of talent and innovation within recruitment. This year, VHR stood out, winning multiple awards including Best Client Service, Best Contractor Service, and Best Engineering Recruitment Agency. Their consistent performance across several categories shows their strength in delivering top-tier recruitment solutions in both permanent and contract roles.
Another notable winner was Trinnovo Group, taking home the award for Diversity, Equality and Inclusivity (DE&I) Service Excellence. Their focus on diversity and inclusion is a great example of how recruitment agencies can contribute to making workplaces fairer and more inclusive, a priority for many companies today.
EY - EYX also made a big impact, winning Recruitment Technology Innovation of the Year. In a world where technology continues to transform how we work, EY’s use of innovative tech in recruitment shows how agencies can streamline their processes and improve candidate and client experiences.
The awards also highlighted strong leadership and individual talent. Sasza Bandiera, CEO of Oyster Partnership, was named Agency Recruitment Leader of the Year for her role in steering the company to success. Meanwhile, Vicki Parker of Vistra took home the In-House Recruiter of the Year award, recognising her work in driving talent acquisition across multiple regions.
The Recruitment Industry Entrepreneur of the Year award went to Nicholas Barton, Founder and CEO of The Barton Partnership, reflecting his entrepreneurial vision and success in building a thriving business.
